Our virtual classes will connect you with Broadway professionals in a small group class setting to give each student individual attention!

Broadway Dance Technique 
Date: 10:30 -11:45 a.m. Saturday, June 13 
Instructor: Freddy Ramirez
Ages: 14-21 
Experience Level: Intermediate – Advanced
Student expectation: Students will need an 8ft x 8ft open area to move/dance around in and wear clothes that they can easily move in. 

Broadway Vocal Audition Technique 
Date: 12:30 – 1:45 p.m. Saturday, June 20 
Instructor: Matt Stocke
Ages: 14-21 
Experience Level: Intermediate – Advanced
Student expectation: Students must be prepared to sing 32 bars of a song via online track of their choosing or acapella and receive feedback from instructor. 

Broadway Comedic Musical Theatre Vocals
Date: 11 a.m. -12:15 p.m. Saturday, June 20 
Instructor: Jeremy Morse
Ages: 14-21 
Experience Level: Intermediate – Advanced
Student expectation: Students must be prepared to sing 32 bars of a comedic song via online track of their choosing or acapella and receive feedback from instructor.

Meet the instructors:

FREDDY RAMIREZ is a Bronx, NY born and raised Performer, Choreographer and Teacher. He began dancing at Broadway Dance Center & STEPS in NYC where he focused his energy on studying all aspects of dance including Tap, Contemporary, Street Jazz, Ballet, & Modern. His training led him to begin his professional career as a core member and eventually a principle dancer for In Forward Motion modern dance company which debuted works from Merce Cunningham, Paul Taylor, and Colin Connor to name a few. He has performed in Music Videos and Industrials in the U.S. and his dancing led him to Italy where he was featured in Tango!

In the Musical theatre world Freddy has performed on Broadway in Grease! And In numerous Equity productions of West Side Story as Bernardo (including 2  50th Anniversary productions), Cabaret as Victor, Gypsy as L.A., Aida, Miss Saigon, Man of La Mancha, Evita as the featured Tango Dancer & Fosse to name a few; and he has toured in the European Touring Company of A Chorus Line  and the 1st U.S. National Touring Companies of Grease! & Peter Pan.

Expanding his art into choreography Freddy has choreographed works performed in Germany, Italy and here in the US. He is Associate Artist at Capital Repertory Theatre, and Assistant Artistic Director at the Northeast Ballet Company and has created Choreography for both.

He most recently choreographed the world Premieres of The Naked Influence and Some People Hear Thunder, The Irish and How They Got That WayFull Monty, She Loves Me, Mamma Mia, Camelot, A Christmas Story, Gypsy and the Secret Garden at the Capital Repertory Theatre. 

Other Choreography credits include Guys And Dolls, Fiddler on the Roof, Damn Yankees, Carousel, Bye Bye Birdie and Little Shop of Horrors for numerous Union regional and repertory theatres. 

Freddy has also been the Choreographer for the School of the Performing Arts program at Proctors. He created the choreography for All Shook Up, Aida, Pippin and Les Miserables

Matthew Stocke is a native Pittsburgher and has a BFA in Drama from Carnegie-Mellon University. For the past 25 years he has lived in midtown Manhattan pursuing varied avenues within the business of show. He made his Broadway debut in 1998 in TITANIC. He has been an original cast member in the companies of The Full Monty, The Boy from Oz, The Wedding Singer, Sting’s The Last Ship and Pretty Woman. He was also in the Broadway cast of Rock of Ages and the original L.A. production of WICKED. At the New York Public Theater, he was in the original companies of Stephen Sondheim’s Road Show as well as Michael John Lachiusa’s GIANT. On television he has made guest appearances on The Americans, Person of Interest, The Sopranos, Law & Order, All My Children, Chappelle’s Show, SVU and 30 Rock. Matt has been a guest instructor at schools and training programs around the country for the past 15 years while also developing and building a successful photography business. He is absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to return to Proctors!

Jeremy Morse is a New York City based performer, originally from Havertown, PA, who is currently playing the Duke of Weselton on the 1st National Tour of Frozen the Musical. He made his Broadway debut in Waitress the Musical at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre and then went out on the 1st National Tour of Waitress plying the role of Ogie. He was nominated for a Drama Desk Award in 2010 (Featured Performance by an Actor in a Musical) for his portrayal of Lo Cocodrilo in Joe Iconis’s Bloodsong of Love at Ars Nova. Recent credits include Waitress (Ogie) at American Repertory Theatre, The Underclassman (Ham Samuels) at The Duke through Prospect Theatre Company, How to Succeed… (Finch) at the Walnut Street and Riverside Theatres, and Into The Woods (Jack) at North Carolina Theatre. . He has also performed at Paper Mill Playhouse, Goodspeed Opera House, The John W. Engeman Theatre, TheatreWorks Palo Alto, Gateway Playhouse and others. He frequently performs and collaborates with Joe Iconis, and he is an avid fan of the Musical Theatre Factory as well as MuseMatch.
