Community Impact

Imagine a community where all children, regardless of income, have the arts in their lives. It’s closer than you’d think.

As a collective of not-for-profit organizations, Proctors Collaborative strives to ensure that the arts remain an essential part of the lives of students, teachers and families in the Greater Capital Region of New York State and beyond. Through the generous support of our sponsors, most of our Collaborative School of the Arts programs are offered at low cost. In addition, we have an extensive scholarship program for qualifying schools and students. Our community thrives when every child has equal access to opportunity.

The Collaborative School of the Arts impact:

  • In total, more than 500,000 students and teachers have been served by our arts education programs since 2002.
  • More than $750,000 has been granted to schools and individuals to participate in our programs since 2007
  • More than 150,000 students in over 125 different schools and community groups have learned about history or literature through the On-The-Go in-school professional touring program since 2003.
  • More than 25,000 individuals have participated in a master class, artist workshop or other arts learning activity since the inauguration of Proctors Education Program and Collaborative School of the Arts.
  • Over 10,000 patrons participated in classes, attended events or movies in the Adeline Graham Theatrical Training and Innovation Center since the opening in January 2018.
