Motivated by the belief in the value of arts in education and a commitment to the youth of our community, the School of the Performing Arts at Proctors and theREP offer a variety of educational programs to tens of thousands of students each season.
Whether you’re interested in being onstage or behind the scenes, our programs allow students of all ages and experience levels to explore what it means to be in this creative industry.
C.A.S.T – The Cultivating Arts & Students Together (C.A.S.T.) programs at Proctors and theREP pairs youth (grade 9 and up) with volunteers to give them an in-depth and entertaining learning experience.
Broadway Tech – Under the guidance of distinguished professionals, the Broadway Tech program immerses production students in an atmosphere of professional theatre.
Spring Break Camp – A one-week introduction to theatre camp!
Weekly Classes – Our weekly classes offers the opportunity for students and adults to learn more about a various field in Acting, Musical Theatre, Film & Media, and Dance.
College Audition Workshop – Choosing material for your college audition AND performing it flawlessly in front of a large panel is very different than any audition you may ever have.
Master Classes – Our Broadway Master Class Series offers the exclusive opportunity for professional–level training for career development.
Summer Programs – Whether your interest lies in the front of the stage or behind the scenes, we have a summer program for everyone.
Young Playwright Contest – A contest for budding playwrights aged 13 – 19. Contest winners will see their short plays professionally produced on theREP’s stage in August 2018 and will receive a series of workshops led by a professional playwright.
